LEVERLINK – Screen Drive Motorbases.
Made Locally. That is Designed and Manufactured in Australia. LEVERLINK is Australia’s leading Motor Base (O.E.M.) Original Equipment Manufacturer. LEVERLINK’s range of Stored Energy Motor Bases have long been recognised as Australia’s choice in Tensioning Belt Drives for a wide range of machinery in the Mining, Quarrying and General Industry including Agriculture.
Vibrating Screens with belt drives are split into two groups. Firstly those with the Electric Motor connected Directly to the screen by the Drive Belts. This arrangement may allow energy from the screen to be transmitted to the motor and supporting structure. A “Type A” LEVERLINK Motor Base will dissipate transmitted energy and also follow the screen action during resonance. Secondly, when the screen drive is via a Jack Shaft, Lay Shaft etc. the electric motor and drive belts are independently mounted. The screen action is taken up by universal joints set in the Jack Shaft arrangement. A “Type B” Motor Base is used in the situation.
LEVERLINK Motor bases are designed to compensate for belt stretch and wear. They have been proven in the most hostile environments.
