LEVERLINK – Vertical Drive Motor Base Arrangements.
LEVERLINK Vertical Drive Motor Base arrangements have been around for more than 25 years. They are referred to as VU (Vertical Up) and VD (Vertical Down) Series. They are most commonly seen in Wet Processing Plants in the Mining Industry attached to Sump Pump belt drives. However, they also have applications in VSI Crushers in Quarrying and other such machinery. Drive designs can reach 400kW.
The simplicity of the design with it’s Stored Energy, drive belt stretch and wear compensating feature is a desirable attraction for most operators. In addition, we can also add benefits such as the Grease Enclosed Tensioning Screw. It should be noted pulleys remain faced and shafts parallel, when tensioning or replacing drive belts.
